Congratulations Maddy and Maureen!

Everyone at The Oaks would like to say a big congratulations to Maureen and Maddy for their ten committed years working at The Oaks. Andrew presented Maddy with beautiful bunch of flowers and an engraved vase. 

Unfortunately Maureen could not be there on the day but Maddy read out some words of thanks for all the support she has received from the company. 

The Oaks' Christmas Party 2014!

It was that time of year again for the 'Mulled Wine and Mince Pies' Christmas party at The Oaks. There was a choir who sang beautifully and got everyone joining in.


Friends and family all joined together and enjoyed food and drink in great company.

Thanks to everyone who helped to organise the event, it was a truly lovely day!

A 'onesie' Party!

The Monday Night Club in Worcester hosted a 'onesie' night so the service users got into their favourite onesies and partied away in comfort! Here is a picture of Jane and Gemma just before they left.

                             Happy Halloween!

Halloween has been eventful at The Oaks this year. The girls enjoyed dressing up, with Jane and Gemma choosing to be witches and Ellen a naughty fairy. Pumpkins were carved and a buffet was eaten at The Oaks. There was also a party in Bewdley that they atteneded and Jane came first in their fancy dress competition! 

                              Even the staff enjoyed dressing up! 

A Thank You Rob From All at The Oaks for A Fun Day Out!

With the thoughtful gift from Rob, Gemma's Father, everyone at The Oaks chose to go Bowling at 'Bowl Extreme'. Sarah even got a strike!

Before heading back to the Oaks everyone enjoyed lunch out at the Perdiswell House.

Service Users Trip to Weston-Super-Mare

All the Service Users went out for the day with Staff to Weston, All service users enjoyed going to the beach and also going for lunch.

Summer Time BBQ!

The rain stayed away for everyone to enjoy a lovely BBQ outside in the garden. The end of the summer was celebrated with plenty of food and laughter.

Marks Birthday!

It was Marks Birthday on the 14th August! He enjoyed opening his presents in the morning followed by a lovely day out. Everyone at the Oaks then had a 'birthday buffet' and helped Mark to eat his  favourite pavlova cake.

            Gemma's Father Robs Birthday! 

Gemma's Father Rob had a Birthday Party on the 8th of August at 'The Pavilion in the Park' in Worcester and everyone from The Oaks was invited.

Rob very generously decided to to ask for donations for The Oaks instead of presents for himself! He has managed to raise £300 in total, this is so that all the Service Users can enjoy a fun day out. Exactly where they will be going is still to be confirmed.

Meet our Latest Staff Member

A new Support Workers have joined the support team at The Oaks. After a job interview where they had to answer many questions from both Service Users and Staff and 2 weeks of intensive induction Lisa started this month.

From all at the Oaks a big welcome and good luck!

                    Sarah's Camping Holiday!

Sarah went camping camping for the first time in July and has said she really enjoyed being in the great outdoors. 

The group took scenic walks and sung around the camp fire at night. Sarah is keen to experience this again. 

Peter & Mark's Holiday

Peter and Mark went on their annual holiday in Welshpool in May, They would like to share some of their holiday snaps with you all, and the great days out they had together.

Congratulations Diane!

Everybody at The Oaks would like to congratulate Diane on her 10 years of working at The Oaks.

Be known to Diane, Andrew came to present Diane with a engraved special glass vase  and flowers to thank Diane for all of her hard work over the years and how Diane has contributed to The Oaks over the years.

Staff and Service Users also celebrated with Diane with Drinks and Nibbles throughout the afternoon.

Sammy's Holiday!

Sammy had her holiday in May. They went to a beautiful private cabin in Leominster, which had a jacuzzi.

Sammy loved the bubbles!!!

                 The surrounding views of the countryside were beautiful.

Ellen Star Chart Reward

Ellen went on her Star Chart Reward Yesterday, Ellen choose to go Shopping in Worcester for her Holiday Clothes and then a meal out at Flames.

Happy Pancake Day!

Our Service Users enjoyed making pancakes on Pancake Day, flipping them on the ceiling of the kitchen (only joking). after making the pancakes they chose a variety of toppings including Jams, Chocolate Spread and the traditional Lemon Juice and Sugar!
